    i got mine done about 6 weeks ago - i took it out yesterday...

    I got a bar first but got it changed as the bar seems to be too small - got a ring put in instead.. it just didnt seem to be healing though and there are now two lumps at each piercing site. After a bit of research it seems these are called hypertrophic scars..

    when I took the ring out it was a bit obvious the piercer should have put a bigger one in...

    anyway does anyone know if there is anything I should be doing to make sure these flatten down and hopefully go away?
