Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I seem to have alot of blackheads on my nose and I find it hard to get rid of them. I drink about 2 litres of water a day and I train in the gym. I have tried using face washes but they still seem to be there.

Any ideas on how to get rid of them?

Have you ever squeezed the pores of your nose that have blackheads really really hard in front of a mirror? It looks like approx 4000 tiny spots erupting, truly a disgusting yet beautiful image, and obviously seems to clear out pores.
Though there are also little blackhead removing plasters, you can put them over your nose, like a bandage, and they grip the blackhead, and yoink it out.
    But the squeezing is cheaper.

Are you male or female? Go for a facial and you'll get rid of them. PM me if you want me to recommend a specific one for you.

Squeezing isnt a great idea - it may cause scarring and spread the germs.

Boire pore strips or something if I remember correctly. Been a good while since that ad was on the tele though.

    OP what age are you?

I imagine teenagers are more prone to acne and blackheads, something about sebum production or what have you.

For the initial clean up and then daily care, I would suggest a good exfoliator.

The problem with cleansers is that they clean but don't exfoliate, or the "grit" in the cleanser is so fine as to be useless. I use a body exfoliator on my face because the grit grain is much bigger and it really does the job.

You can get a squeezy bottle of St Ives Apricot Body Scrub at Tesco no problems (I think it's about 7 euros and it will last ages.) It is basically a nice mud texture with ground up apricot pits in it. Its very scrubby and quite nice. You just use it in the shower.

There's a system to good facial exfoliation, btw.

First of all, you want to exfoliate your face last. You should shampoo (and condition, if you condition) first, because otherwise the rinsed off shampoo/conditioner will just re-block the pores you just opened.

And then when you use the scrub, be sure to do both your forehead and your nose. It sounds gross but if you don't do your forehead, the oil produced in that zone will work its way down and re-clog your pores.
