Does anybody know how i can get a 2nd key cut for my car without having to fork out 130-140 euro to ford all because of a key chip in the key. I have a 00ford focus 1.6 ghia. Any help appreciated.

As far as I know you cann't. Only the dealer can get you one of them.
I have heard of people doing duplicates, for 50-70 euro, but when you couldn't start your car anymore they said - what do you expect for that money.

there is a guy on amiens street that does coded/chipped car keys...dont think its going to be much cheaper than ford though.

Central key and hardware on north fredrick st cloned and cut me a key for a fiat last week €36 and it works.
