Does anyone here have an American MiniDV recorder?

I am in need of a favour from someone who has a MiniDV camera that can play American NTSC MiniDV tapes. I have a few unseen before concerts from a band I make websites for but they were sent to me by an American fan and so far I have not found anywhere here that can get the footage off the tapes for me.

If anyone here has the ability I would be willing to pay for their service.

I need the concerts either on DVD or video tape, preferably in PAL but even NTSC would be good enough as I can get that converted in a shop. They told me they could do MiniDV too but when I went to pick up the tapes they informed me they couldn't (I asked several times are you SURE you can do NTSC MiniDV and was told they could)

These guys can convert NTSC to PAL for you.

If you just want the footage captured and burnt onto an NTSC DVD I could do it for you.

How did it go connecting it to the computer?

I spoke to someone from http://www.specialistav.ie/ and they will charge €50 per hour of footage. I can probably pay that but there are a few other bands on the tape that I don't really want to bother with so I guess I'd end up paying for them too unless I can sit there with them while they do it.
