Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sorry, I'd posted this by mistake to Gadgets, but can't see any way for the original poster to move a thread, so I'm asking it again here.

My cheapsky Yakuma DVD player, bought in Argos a year or two ago, seems to have suddenly stopped working - it sticks on 'Loading' when I try to get it to play a DVD.

Is there a simple solution to this, and if not, what's a good cheap DVD player that won't balk at DVDs from around the world, and where can I buy it?

Ah, that's a good idea. My first recourse, violence and threats, worked so far: I turned it upside down and beat it, and it started working again, for the moment.
