Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So what can our cousins across the big pond be looking forward to this fall..?
I know Lost is out Oct 4, Battlestar Galactica is on Oct 6, and Veronica Mars is out Oct 3,
Other than that, i can't think what else is returning..

Yep.. as usual. Just finishing Day 4 now (gah.. it's boring!) and then onto (a hopefully better) Day 5.

Day 5 is amazing in comparison to Day 4

Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU have both just returned for new series. I think Criminal Intent is also back but I don't watch that. All the CSI franchises have just returned in the last month too.

As mentioned above, South Park returns this week for the 2nd part of series 10, which I'm really looking forward to. American Dad and Family Guy both made a return with 3 epsiodes each, but now seem to have stopped. Good old Fox fscking up the scheduling again.

Then there's one of the best shows on TV, The Wire, which also came back after a two year break in the last few weeks. I'm also looking forward to BSG returning this Friday, with two episodes no less. Mmmmmm, BSG.

Major League Baseball Playoffs begin this week so expect the Fox schedule to be pretty arse-ways for the next month.

I've only started watching the Wire recently. Currently about halfway through season 2 and I have to say that it's a fantastic show. Has this been picked up by any stations over this side of the pond at any stage? It's truly a shame if it hasn't been. Anyone who doesn't know it should seek it out. HBO really do make the best TV

The Wire gets it's UK airing on FX on Sky Digital, but I don't think they've aired series 3 yet. It has also been shown on TG4 here in Ireland. They showed series 3 last Summer, even repeated it too I believe.

Can't get the credit for that.. it's all TmB's!

I used the second link (CAT TV) for ages but on TmB's suggestions, moved over to MyEpisodes - much larger database of shows, much sleeker and more options with finding what you need - via the Calender or RSS!

Mucho kudos to TmB then :)

You must watch it on a different channel, because I watch it on RTÈ2 on a Monday. Not sure when it's returning though.
