    Quick hint to NiallOH, if one is to be pedantic Britain doesn't actually offer abortion "on demand". If one was to read the legislation the conditions under which an abortion may be carried out seem quite rigorous but they actually fit almost every circumstance. Usually they qualify under: "That the woman's health would be endangered by continuing the pregnancy" Note the word health and not life. Anyone who knows anything about Medicine will tell you that pregnancy is when a womans health is most vulnerable so effectively British law does allow abortion on demand, but only in practice, not in theory.

    Excuse my pedanticism......I think that's a word!
