    Hi

    I am considering to move from shared hosting to a full managed VPS hosting. Budget is da factor, otherwise I'd go ahead with a dedicated server. If any boardsies around here have experience on VPS, please tell your stories. :D

    You need to weigh up the cost v's benefit.

    Dedicated can be had these days from as little as €59.95 per month, so unless the VPS is significantly cheaper, you are basically just getting 'slightly' more secure, more dedicated shared hosting.

    I have a vps with www.eurovps.com. The product is good but the language barrier is a bit of a problem....well more of a culture barrier...they're based in Holland.

    From my expierence i have found it a lot easier to deal with Irish or UK hosts.
