Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm heading to the States soon and am planning on revamping my image.

What is going to be the next American Clothing brand that will be popular over here.

Or what is you favourite American at the mo and where do you get the clothes

Abercrombie, American eagle and aeropostale are three of the biggies that you wont get over here unless over the net so look out for those. Personally i think abercrombie is the best quality make of clothes you can buy, and no im not one of those d4 heads. Trust me.
Its tough enough to find these shops, i kno abercrombie hav a store on 5th avenue, NY (coolest shop ever), you hav to look in the malls outside the city or in smaller cities tho. Stamford, conneticut is by far the best.

You should've probably included your price ranges, but the ones mentioned so far are pretty good. It might also be worth your while tracking down a Ruehl No. 925 as they're going to be huge in 2-3 years time.

    Ruehl expensive but good :D
Exchange rate is big time in your favour though at the moment!

It's totally all about the wigger brands right now and for the next 8 years. Rocca Wear, Ecko, Sean John etc.

abercrombie & fitch are good quality but kinda come with the whole "D4" label(i wear abercrombie though, and i am NOT a d4) and american eagle is really nice and not as expensive as abercrombie. yeh also aeropostale and my personal favourite, old navy, which is pretty cheap and good for, well, everything. and if youre into the whole "goth" thing (well even if youre not, they have pretty cool stuff) go to hot topic for all that weird stuff... if you find yourself anywhere near new jersey or even new york definetely go to the outlet mall called "jersey gardens". best. place. EVA.

Who wants to be on the next big thing? It's all about the never-will-be-big-thing (Fjall Raven at the moment).

If I or someone I knew were going to the States, I'd buy a rake of RL polo shirts. Long lasting, timeless, and the new fitted model is even better.

    I should hope not.

Personally I'd go for GUESS by Marciano which is half the price than it is here, Ralph Lauren and Ruehl.

If you do buy Abercrombie & Fitch/ áeropostale/ hollister/ american eagle etc. don't buy with big logos blazened across them as that'll [imho anyway] look really tacky [tackier than now I mean] in a few years time.

Oh and OP whatever brand/s you choose to buy, make sure you don't buy trend led pieces that will date quickly ...stick to classic pieces that won't let you down;)

    Have fun!
