Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Missing "Intel Wireless Connection Agent"

    Hi,

Not much of a poster around here but I'd really appreciate if someone could help me with my problem.

I have got a wireless network set up to a 3Com router which works fine with one laptop. I'm having problems trying to add another Dell laptop and the only difference I can see in configuration is that the 2nd laptop does not have "Intel Wireless Connection Agent" in the wireless network general properties area even though it uses an intel card.

The problem is that it's not picking up any networks in the area. I tried disabling WPA authentication but still no luck. iwca.sys is not in the windows drivers folder. I can't seem to add the agent using the laptop driver cd and there is no sign of it on intels web page. Does it need this agent or is there a problem somewhere else?

Any help would be really appreciated.
