that you will need a firearms licence for. no licence? 5 years in prison ;)

actually a relative of mine has one of them. i keep meaning to ask if he has a FAC. then again, maybe it would be best if i didnt know...

Yep, perfectly legal here, but as o1s1n says, it'd need to be licenced the same as if it was a deer rifle.

10-12 lbs/ft = 13.5-16 joules, therefore well beyond the airsoft 1 joule limit.

Can someone please move this post to the shooting thread before AEG's and other airsoft guns get put in the same catagory as air rifles?

Could I buy this http://www.gizmos-uk.com/Gunpower%20Stealth%20Rifle.html with my credit card and get it shipped here?

    Sure.
As it's rated at 11.7 lbs/ft (approx. 16 joules), you'll need to get an invoice from the vendor showing the details of the gun and its serial number, and apply for a Firearms Certificate for it at your local Garda Station. You'll also need to get an 'Article 7' document from the Gardai authorising you to import it.

As Harekin says, this question might be better asked over in the Shooting Forum.

You probably could. You'd need a licence here though. Get caught with that without a licence and you'd be in pretty serious trouble, that's a hunting air rifle, not an airsoft gun.

(Thread moved to the Shooting forum btw).

edit: Rovi's answer's much better, read his instead! :D
