Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    If you're on 3, can you just update your firmware, or will it affect the 3 software within etc?

    It will only update the firmware if Nokia has issued a version 4 for 3 Ireland.

    I know in the UK there is no Orange Ver 4 available so those users' firmware is not being updated.

    I just got an N80 on eBay, and the Version is v4.0623.0.41 so I presume I don't need to update just yet?

    I Have a SIM free N80 that has a firmware of

    v3.0614.03
    11-04-2006
    RM-92
    Nokia N80 (58.01)

    I tried the new updater software and it indicated that there was no updates available. Any ideas why it is not allowing an update to v4 firmware?

    58.01 is not generic firmware, that would be 01.01

    You will either need to go to someone who can reflash with generic, or wait until Nokia releases a 58 variant on their update site

    Mine is also 58.01 but has v4.xx software. TBH, is there really much need to update the software, unless you're experiencing issues with bugs?

    The new firmware for (58.01) only came out on 29/09/06 so this varient isn't up yet.

    Hopefully it will be up soon
