    Hello,

    I am looking for a message board (prefer free but would pay if worth it), similiar to boards.ie which would involve a login access. However, the login would involve been verified by the administration before you get your login details say in an email.

    Just wondering is there any message board out there like this that maybe some of ye came on.

    Something like phpBB or Simple Machines?

    I think with Simple Machines you can disable Registering.
    However, phpBB can be set to have the administration verified the account and not the user. You can set it to have the user verified the account there selfs or you can have none.

    Boards.ie will also set up your own board.Certain rules on it though. Check the forum requests forum.

    Check what server side languages and databasaes your webhost supports before you go and get one.
