Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Folks,
Am looking to replace our aging FTP server and was thinking of using a 3rd party solution rather than our current Win2000 based system. Anybody got any suggestions as to what is good out there? Thanks in advance.

If you are looking to replace WINDOWS 2000 then look at the Unix forum.

Big question.. Is it an internal server or will it be on the internet ?
Internal servers you can use most apps, speed and something allows resume of a failed transfer is what you want.

For internet servers the main criterion is security. Everything else is secondary.

Will look at Filezilla, Sorry if I didn't explain myself, but I'm going to replace the hard ware which is pretty old and am looking for recommended solutions. It will most likely be running Win2003 as we are a MS company. All the access will be external with a constant change in users. It needs to be secure (the current setup has a DMZ, as will the new one) I had been looking at the likes of Serv-U and BulletFTP as they offer extra in the way of flexibility.
