    So what the speed like? I appear to be on 7mbps. Was the upload also upgraded.

    The uploads gone up, so pretty much everyone is on 600K up.

    Keep in mind that some lines may not be up to this speed and the upgrade may in fact result in worse speeds for those with poor lines. Smart will adjust the speed downwards for you if needs be.

    My download speed has increased from 2.7Mb to only 3.7Mb ( probably partly due to the way my computer is wired up to the phone line and partly to me buying a cheap network card ).
    I don't care if I cannot reach The full 6Mb so long as I don't have to go and get another phone service provider.
    It was an ordeal getting connected to Smart in the first place. I could not go through all that again.
