Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Got a new FSC AMILO Si1848+u ( with 3G inbuilt ) but am having a problem getting Day of Defeat to run

    Relevant Spec is

    Centrino Duo T2300
    1GB RAM
    100GB HDD
    ATI MobilityTM Radeon® X1300 with 64MB GDDR2
    with 256 MB HyperMemory™)

    I get as far as the screen where you find servers, but then it just freezes

    also loaded Company of heros and moves real slow on graphics.

    Everything else is fine, lovely laptop. Brushed steel and chrome.

    suspect its settings that need to be tweaked.

    Anyone got any ideas

    Update the drtivers from www.ati.com

    Ensure you have online connection (check the readme for COHs ports)

    COH is a beast of a game and struggles on a lot of decent pcs, so drop your settings if needed.

    I have trouble running COH on my Geforce Go 7400 as well at anything above medium settings, it's just a very demanding game. The X1300 is a pretty weak card as well so make sure the settings are on low....

    As for Day of Defeat, that should work fine at decent settings, try updating to latest catalyst drivers and see what happens.
