Hi, The vents in our house are those flimsy ones like miniature venetian blinds. Only now that it's windy they rattle like mad in the wind making a dreadful noise. Should I just get the builder to rip them out and replace them with sturdy vents that don't terrify my children at 4am? Is this a reasonable request? I don't…

I don't want to tape them up and invite radon/CO poisoning upon the family ...

New house?

If the builder refuses, then replace them yourself. They are not that expensive and easy to fit.
