Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wireless-G Adapter card

    Hi All,
    I'm hoping to buy a wireless router but I'm just wondering do I need to buy a
    Wireless-G Adapter card also. I have a dell inspiron 9400 laptop.

    advice greatly appreciated.

    The Dell Laptop doesn't specify that that model has built in wireless, but if you try to order one, the options include
    Intel® Pro Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g Mini PCI Wireless LAN Card for Duo Processors add € 0.00
    which suggests that it's included in the base system.

    Thanks Foxwood I think its included alright. I suppose what I was asking was that would a Wireless-G Adapter be faster/better that the built in version ?

    No. The built in card already supports 802.11g (Wireless-G).
