Ok, so yes, this is a plug and yes, it'll probably get locked (although please try not to!!!) BUT I am from Greystones! And I'm giving away a track. And it's new indie music...and I could do with the support. Alright, the plea is over.

My recent single, "Worry Number One", is being made available as a free download - just click the link below:

Please feel free to distribute to others and to post your feedback in this post. The music is a mix of a variety of influences including Beatles, Bowie and Kinks. More info at http://www.myspace.com/chrissingleton or http://www.chrissingleton.co.uk

    Ta! Some quotes below...

"Some of the best pop/rock you are likely to hear this or any year" - The Irish Times

"A confident collection of songs...Twisted City is an express train of emotions" - Daily Express

"With a voice somewhere between George Harrison and John Lennon - a good place to be - Singleton pens catchy tunes too...Compelling stuff" - Hotpress

"Twisted City's concept is a fascinating idea carried out with skill and flair by surely one of the most promising songwriters to surface this year" - Clash Magazine

"One glorious ride of well-crafted pop/rock tunes...this is an album you can play again and again and never tire of" - **** Get Ready to Rock

Sorry Singleton, this is more appropriate to the Music forum (and you'll get more hits).

Good tune though, very catchy. Opens like Abba's "Waterloo", but it's uphill from there.

not bad, a bit like Brendan Benson. Could do with some real drums on it though - sounds like a drum machine was used.

My only criticism is that I don't like the high-to-low pitch siren noise. I'd drop that from the track if it was me. Otherwise, ... Pretty good, yeah! I'm impressed.

With your permission, I'll give it some airplay on my radio show this Friday night.

Sorry but I thought it was quite poor, like Brendan Benson without the talent.
