stabbing in Galway

did anyone hear about this in the lane off quay street/Amnesty international area??? i hope what i hear isn't true. anyway what i hear that a woman was stabbed by her boyfriend and then he cut himself...

My uncle, aunt and young cousins were present when it happened. My young cousins are traumatised by the whole thing and the alleged assailant nearly knocked over one of the girls when he pushed her before he stabbed the woman.

It was my aunt that called the Gardai
