    Hey can anyone recommend anywhere to buy Fois Gras (not not the crap in tins) ?? Any tips of preparing same would also be gratefully accepted :D

    There's a little French market stall in the Howth market on a Sunday. Normally just by the entrance to the Angling Centre. They do all kinds of foie gras: pate, pure liver etc. We bought some recently, (I didn't eat any) but Blub2k4 did, and reckons it was pretty damn tasty.

    Also, try a search of Boards, someone posted a while ago about being able to source foie gras in Dublin through a local restaurant.

    Thanks Geordie will have to take a drive out there on Sunday and take a look, any idea what time its on ...... morning or afternoon ???

    It's open pretty much all day.

    I don't remember exactly what time it closes, but I'd say 4 or maybe even 5.
