Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, the joystick on my phone mentioned above has stopped working, I presumed it's dirt, so I got the small splines out, dismantled it and cleaned it.
Still no joy, feel like bining it.
Anyone elsed sorted out this desperate design flaw with sony phones...

I know I saw a tutorial somewhere on the net on how to solve this issue. I think it is more to do with dust on the contacts, but I can't really remember.

Edit: this could be it: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=125703&start=0

I gave it a few shots of air from a compresser and cleaned it out did the job.

If the phone is under warrenty send it back to SE and they will replace it for you its a common problem.

If the problem is there for a while, the joystick will have to be replaced. Meteor wouldn't do it for me under warranty so I had to take it elsewhere where it was done under warranty.
