I have gone about this the wrong but anyway I have bought a Stratford Ti40B Inset multifuel boiler stove it going to replace my open fire which has a backboiler. I wanted to put an inset stove in becuase the chimney breast is not very wide and an ordinary stove would have been too far out from the wall.
The openfire heats the room at the moment I use turf and mix it with coal on the colder nights, it doesn't heat the rads much. The spec on the stove says that it will put 2kw to the room it is 5.5 x 5.5m with a bay window and one door, there is also a rad from the oil burner, will this heat the room.
