My Friend in US wants me to get Pill for her?

    Hi There,

    Would really appreciate your help here! My friend lives in NY and I'm going over to her in a few weeks. Her pill prescription and even to go and see the doctor is really expensive over there so she asked me if I would go to the doc on her behalf and get a prescription for her.

    My question is, if I go to a different doctor (not my normal one) and ask for a prescription, can they trace this back to me? I said I'd do this without really thinking about it....

    Don't do this.
    There is a good reason why you have to see a dr to get a persciption filled there are side effect to the oral contraception pill and your firend needs to see a dr herself.
    You can not get a prescription for some one else or give some one else your perscription.

    Tell your friend to find her local planned parenting clinc.
