Clane Eircom Exchange Upgrade

I've been in contact with Eircom several times over the past months with regard to the 'supposed' Clane Exchange upgrade.... I get the usual 'were upgrading everywhere, tune in next week and check' etc. Would anyone have any concrete news, views on this. Live in Rathcoffey but still cannot get broadband. Also, anyone know…

Also, anyone know anything about O2 / Vodafones new broadband offerings coming shortly.

Dont think it'll matter what if any upgrades Eircom do to the Clane exchange depends on where exactly you are and if your on a carrier unit...In the short term you may be able to get eircoms FWA signal which is broadcast from cappagh hill.. expensive though and not a great service...
