    Smudge Design is a small but fast growing multi-disciplinary design company based in the heart of Dublin City. Its time to grow and we are looking for a creative and hard working designer to help us out with that. We work with some of the biggest agencies and companies in Ireland on web, multimedia and print design projects both big and small as well as some video design and production. We are looking for a highly dynamic, fun, personable, multi-talented, self motivated individual who has experience working in the industry both in web/multimedia and print design.

    WE ARE LOOKING FOR PORTFOLIOS THAT WILL BLOW US AWAY!

    You will be taking projects in many areas of design from brief to completion while dealing directly with clients so you need to be a personable and good communicator who can work in a team as well as on your own, initiative and ambition required!

    We realise all job descriptions say this but this really is a great opportunity to join a really promising, fun company with a bright future, salary will reflect the quality and proficiency of the work and we will also be offering financial incentives as well as a good salary.     Excellent portfolio, experience, personality and work attitude are what we are looking for.

    You must be proficient in using the following Applications on a Mac:
    Flash 8 (both animation and interface production)
    Dreamweaver 8
    QuarkXpress/InDesign
    Photoshop CS
    Illustrator CS
    Adobe Acrobat Distiller

    Some knowledge/understanding in any of the following is a bonus as you would be dealing with programmers and production people from time to time:
    Fireworks 8
    Final Cut Pro
    Apple Motion
    Livetype
    Camera skills in Photography and video
    Soundtrack Pro
    3D animation
    ActionScript 2.0 for Flash
    XML
    CSS
    PHP
    ASP

    Sorry are you looking for a developer or a designer - cause my reading of that job ad is that you are looking for a 2-in-one deal

    Plus what kind of salary are you offering?

    hi, we are looking for a design/production person, if you have a knowledge/understanding of how developent and backend works its a bonus as you would be working with programmers from time to time. Its not a 2 in one deal we are looking for just a good web/multimedia designer who can build frontend while understanding how everything works in the backend, any good web designer will. Salary depends on quality of design, skills and expierence, sorry i can't be more spacific then that.
