Has anyone read any Richard Brautigan?

    If not, I suggest you do, especially his book "Sombrero Fallout". His imagery is incredible. Also of note are his novels "The Abortion: An Historical Romance 1966" and "Confederate General From Big Sur". Dunno where you'd go about finding them except ordering them online though, havent seen any of his work in any mainstream bookshop.

    I wasn't crazy about Sombrero Fallout, I have to say. I did quite like An Unfortunate Woman, but my favourite is definitely the short story collection, Revenge of the Lawn.

    They had a pile of Brautigan last time I was in Hodges Figgis in August
