Mine only started.:( Well it can't get much worse than last Friday 13th. A got a staple shot into my hand (not your average office stapler either), power was cut off and we had work off a generator and our cat had to have surgery.

I was chasing Punky when I twisted my ankle, fell over and stabbed myself by accident.

    Unlucky.

    1. Young man arrives in to fix broken air conditioning unit in our primary server room.

    2. Man is brought into room and left to his devices.

    3. Man sees big red "Emergency Stop" button, and pushes it.

    4. "Emergency Stop" button belongs to a UPS, not an air conditioning unit.

    5. At least two primary routers go down, instantly removing most of our business critical services from our network.

    6. My boss ages about ten years in 20 minutes while he tries to figure out how to bring the UPS out of emergency stop mode.

    7. I laugh quietly inside that for once it's not my problem.

Brilliant Seamus! A touch of Fr Dougal on the airplane about that!:)

Mine is the same as the last Friday 13th, which means "meh". (Except for the fact that I am totatttttttly skint at the moment.)

Has anybody watched Friday 13th on Friday 13th? If so did it make your day better or worse?:)

Bloody Friday the 13th. I drove into town for lunch and encountered a moronic middle aged man REVERSING on a roundabout.

For the love of god, how long would it have taken him to just drive around again? It isn't even a big roundabout ffs!

The system just came back up. Now I'm going to be swamped for the rest of the evening. Doh, probably have to stay back late now too. :(

I'm having a really bad day :( I'm really sad for no reason. I feel like crying and I just twisted my ankle when I stepped in a hole full of water. I think I just want to go home and pull the covers over my head.

I had a presentation to do in front of our class today in college. Didn't go too bad, considering I hate public speaking. Apart from that, nothing really, although the day isn't over yet...........God knows what will happen later with a couple of pints in me! :D

My triple-chocolate muffin that I lovingly heated in the microwave just rolled off the plate onto my trousers and down to the floor. I'd love to Nally that bun.

just flew in from Geneva today, I was hoping to get seat 13F, but they gave me 26F instead. Ah well, a bit of turbulence near Dublin and crew reminded everyone to 'fasten their seat belts and to take a moment to note the NEAREST EMERGENCY EXIT' But it turned out to be just anther normal landing... yawn...

Uh, I may be wrong here, but in Irish folklore or whatnot, isn't Friday the 13th supposed to be lucky? Shows how backwards a country we are...

Anyway, s'all in the mind. I saw at least 5 pairs of magpies, yet nothing good or bad has happened to me. Well I suppose some bad stuff that did happen but nothing out of the ordinary.
Don't really know where I'm going with this....Dark City ftw!

Most of the vpn connections in work are down.
couldn't connect to any external ip addresses at all earlier, which was fun...

the main boss of the office is still here stressing out over it and i'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs unable to connect to anywhere...
at least the internet is back up though:p

seems to be a pretty lucky day so far actually...

    /edit
I did a poop earlier that didn't require any tp... that was fairly damn freaky!

Wife's birthday is today, so I made her favourite breakfast of waffles. By which I mean she cooked herself the frozen waffles I grabbed at the supermarket yesterday. And I have yet to even start thinking about getting her a present.

Nothing else happened, apart from my quest for the coveted "suckiest husband ever" title continuing unabated.

Thats horrible, I'd say go out in a car with a few friends and a set of golf clubs and if you find him/her, make a mess of the people who have him/her 'cause the Gardaí sure won't do anything in time.
Sorry to hear that anyway, horrible thing to happen and best of luck finding it.

My friday 13th isn't going so bad, one of my best friends was quite píssed off with me earlier but I think thats sorted, or at least I hope it is, and other than that the day has gone fine. Still plenty left to it though so fingers crossed all stays well!

Mine's going pretty badly, first of all my holiday in Galway was over so I was feeling pretty crap, so we checked out of our gorgeous hotel room in the Radisson and loaded up the car to drive to Dublin, only to see the engine light come on in the car, found a garage and discovered there was no oil in it even though I'd left it in a garage last week, so after getting given out to for 20 minutes by the garage man, I was feeling even more miserable.

Really sorry to hear that, was only diagnosed with oesphageal cancer on the 2nd so I know how difficult it is.

My day was actually quite good, I spent the afternoon with my dad and did some wedding shopping.

Hmmm, fairly ****ty day. Had a hang over, late for work, had 5 meetings at the same time, told my boss she hasn't a clue and I'm fairly sure I'm going to be fired next week.

I'm having a good day considering the date.

Woke up before the alarm clock (for once).
On walk to school a car drove through puddle and soaked a load of people I was meant to be walking with.
Vending machine school gave me 3 bottles of Sprite for the price of 1 :)
I hadn't the work done for two classes - teachers for these were out, and I missed a test.

    Someone must love me.

~Emmmm my day is good, I just said this elsewhere and reckon I'll earn a ban off that site, yay!

Striking was great in the 80's when everywhere was in a depression, but now the constant whinging and moaning for extrra cash, or another few rolls of toilet paper has me reaching for Karl Marx's throat.

    Pfff I say, pffff.

I dont normally beleive in fri 13th bringing bad luck, but i returned from a business trip in Athens on fri, the 1st leg of the journey was fine but when i got to amsterdam i was told that my flight home to Glasgow would be delayed as the plane wasnt ready, then they couldnt find a truck to tow it to the departure lounge, when it finally arrived the bus taking us to the plane was late. Eventually we got on the plane and the pilot made good time getting to Glasgow in just over an hour however when we got ther the ground crew had problems linking up external power and to cap it all they sent out the wrong type of stairs. overall a 2hr delay and most unusual as KLM are normally always on time.

    Well the only bad things that happened were, I went to get a travel card and the ibbon broke so I couldn't. I then waited for a bus, missed it. Waited for an hour, got the next bus to Dublin which took four and a half housh. Instead of being there at half five, I arrived at nine. ;_;
