They look grand but go into http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=321218
    this the ram is cheaper

Don't go for that Ocz Platinum 6400 ram. Ocz have had a lot of rma's with that ram, both rev 1's & rev 2's & there have been odd compatibility issues.

Plonk, I don't think a 450w psu would futureproof his rig. It only has 1 4pin power connection also, no good for a dual core mobo.

yea i was planning on getting the ram as part of that bundle, but willl the psu not be good enough then no? still though its a saving of money.
anyone have that ram and mobo combo?

and in the mobo specs it says that all it needs is "4-pin ATX12V connector, 24-pin main power connector" and from what i can see the psu has them. and 450 would be enough for now id imagine as all ill be running is 1hdd 1dvd and 2 case fans, mobo and cpu

oh yea forgot bout this :D. Anyway, what ram would you guys recommend? looking for 2gb@ not too expensive. The patriot 800mhz ram in custom pc magazine looks good, anyone seen it?

Ya, i read it, good review, but as i keep tellin peeps....team xtreem 6400. Wasn't reviewed in CPC mag. Best value out there, 3-3-3-8 timings, clocks to well over 1000mhz & very cheap.

    Or this, 3rd 1 down: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Geil_DDR2_Memory.html

Komplett don't have much of a selection, you could go for 5300 or 5400 ram. It'd make no difference at stock speeds.

Would be ok for stock settings, but oc'ing.......who knows  You could be lucky like Mutant Fruit & get a serious oc on value ram, Here: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055004877
But chances are that it won't run much faster than its rated for.

Edit, look in2 what ram mutant has

I can definitely recommend the Geil PC6400, mine clocks to 880+Mhz @ 4-4-4-12, 2.1v. I just wish I'd bought a few kits at the time, as they were just £107.99. OcUK whacked up the price when Gibbo realised just how good this ram actually is (now £164.99)
