Go to http://www.google.co.uk/ and type in "left hand drive car sales" and you will get a load of uk dealers, eg:http://www.skymarketinguk.com/left.htm, http://www.lhdplace.com/

Don't know how the prices compare to the rest of Europe, but at least the language shouldn't be a problem ;)

Why are you after a LHD in particular.
I have a LHD Jetta for sale. Immaculate condition. NCT 08. Daily driver.

we're emmigrating... Afraid it's too small and just a little too old, need to pull a large trailer but thanks for the offer

So the plan is to buy some LHD car from some country on the continent, bring it into Ireland and then use it to move people and trailer back to wherever you're emmigrating to, correct?

If that is the case, you need to realize that (depending which country you are exporting the lhd car from) you are going to run into all sorts of red tape issues regards registration, de-registration, re-registration, insurance, customs, NCT, what have you ...not to mention that theoretically you should also register and insure said car in Ireland, complete with VRT and all that.

It would most likely be a far better option to organize your emmigrating via a rented van or even a removals company and then buy the car once you have arrived at your destination.

Thanks Peasant, We've looked into it and are hoping to register and insure the car in the destination country (Bulgaria), just waiting to hear back wether or not I need to have the car there to register it. We're choosing to drive because we want to bring our dog. If we can get a car in germany we'll get export plates which also insure us for two weeks but again I need to check which countries they'll insure us in
