Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Guys,

    I am looking at getting one of the SE phones from O2. I have heard and read a lot about the joysticks failing on them. I am just wondering if people can post what phone they have/had, how loing they have had it and if they have any problems with they joystick.

    I haven't been keeping up to date with SE phones the last six months, but it used to be an awful problem with the K500/K700/K750 phones. I think they were talking about that particular problem within the company along time ago so I can only imagine that the newer releases have been improved. Part of the problem was that the joysticks couldn't be cleaned, it was dust and dirt that led to problems - maybe in the newer models the covers and parts are more easily removed.

    Either way, I'm sure someone else with more knowledge of current SE handsets will fill ya in...

    had my W800i for almost a year now. No problems to report aside from the bloody camera turning itself on all the time. Assume that's due to the slider on the back moving around when it's in my pocket.

    I've had the K750 for 8 months and the joystick is pretty much knackered. Annoying considering I wouldnt consider myself a heavy user of the phone!
