Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey Guys - my gf got a new phone at the weekend (an upgrade from meteor).she got that black flip nokia one not sure which model -its got a thin battery.

anyway when she got home she was transferring her numbers over she had to copy over the first batch on the SIM card abd then go back to get the remainder from the phone which didnt fit on the SIM.
The process however was unsuccessful - the SIM copied over grand but didnt wipe the SIM to be able to add the phone contained numbers to it.

she spent a while onto customer service. After a bit of a merry-go-round they said that the new phones corrupt old SIM cards and that the shop should have told her that at the time. It is possible to get the names copied over if she goes into the meteor shop however.

Has anyone encountered this before? Is it a well documented problem?
I myself will be going into buy a new phone myslef and have an old SIM card also.I want to know what to ask the them when i do go in.

    any help would be appreciated.

I've never heard of that happening. Maybe it can though. What type of sim card is it? 16, 32 or 64k?

to be honest im not sure - but i will find out tonight.
i think it fitted about 200 or so phone numbers on it.

Typical. Customer Care blame the stores. If your sim card can hold 200 numbers, it's not an old sim card. Old sim cards that don't work properly with newer phones are those that only hold 20 to 100 contacts, and 100 is stretching it.
