Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Laptop Crashes on Shut Down

    Hello,

My laptop crashes when it shutsdown, but it only crashes sometimes. It appears that "C directory Change Watcher Helper window" (Whatever that is) is crashing. I've had a look on Google, but can't see anything relating to it. I'm in the process in doing a virus scan and Adaware scan, but don't think I'll find anything as I only rebuilt the Laptop 2 weeks ago and it hasn't been on the net much.

The Laptop is a Targa one, that was on sale in Lidl a few months ago - 1 gig Ram AMD chip.

    Cheers,

    John

If you download Process Explorer, it will tell you what the particular program is (when running in Windows) and a location of it. It might give you some clues on whether it is any use/can be killed.

Hmmm, everything looks pretty on on that. I think it's actually the shut down process that is crashing..... some people have sysfader crash I have this madness. Typical with Process Explorer running it shut down fine :(

Attached is a print screen of what was running before I shut down:
