    Technical difficulties on the NTSA website at the moment, so I'm swiping an email to use as the announcement. There'll be phone calls sent all over in the next day or two as well. I'll answer any questions anyone has here or by PM or by email or by phone or whatever medium you want to use, publicly or privately. There are no stupid questions on this one.
    Hi Everybody,

    This is an important notice:

    Please note well that there is to be a general meeting of persons interested in the future development of our Sport in UCD next Sunday starting at 10.30am. The venue is to be the rifle range. This meeting corresponds with a squad training day. And will take place instead of said training.

    It is our opinion that this will be one of the most important meetings to take place in recent times and hopefully what is agreed at it will be the foundation on which the future development of our shooters and sport will be based upon.

    Therefore it is of great importance that you notify the committee of the NTSA of your intention to attend and take part in this meeting.

    Marina, Mark and I are currently members of the NTSA Committee, so please feel free to contact us. Also the Committee of the NTSA can be contacted through email via the NTSA website.

    Please. please take advantage of this opportunity to get your views on our sport onto the record and please take an active role and play your part in steering our wonderful sport into the great days that lie ahead.

    Thank you

    Geoff

    A quick reminder that this is coming up in two days; and to point out that it is not just for air rifle shooters, it is for all ISSF rifle and pistol shooters, be they smallbore, fullbore or airgun.

    The suggested talking points are (but this is a list of suggestions only, discussion will not be curtailed to these areas):

    * Overall structure for national coaching.
    * Training Camps
    o National Coach, Club Coaches
    o National Squad, Irish Team
    * Strategic Planning of Training
    * Fitness
    o Yoga
    o Diet
    * Mental Preparation
    * Gun mechanics
    * Team Spirit
    * Anti-Doping.
