Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just wondering if anyone would like to run my forums.

    the site is www.letstalkfootball.com it's been running for a while but i've stoped updating it as i'm to busy,

    bit of advise...don't make your forum 'permisson only to view'
    how are people going to know if they want to sign up if they can't read the threads? Plus none of the search engines will be able to add your pages to google and yahoo because they can't read the pages either.

    Also, would you not be better off asking some existing members if they would like to moderate the forum while you're too busy to do it?

    I've asked a few members before they didnt want to.. they just wanted to post. I cant remember why i made it that you had to sign you before you can read it but u think i had a good reason.

    Well if anything is interesed please let me you, You can run you own paid averts and keep the profits.

    i cant figure out how to switch off the "you must sign in to view the forums"

    any idea how to ?

    I'm still looking for someone to run this, There is PHP Ads New banner software running on the site so you can place 2-3 banners on the site and make some money from it if you like. (Ad's will be previewed by me 1st,, i cant have anything bold on it lol)

    Hi All.

    I'm back to try find someone. I did have someone for a few months. But he got real busy.

    We are now running a comp for FIFA 07 so it should be a little easier to run Also i've started Google adwords to get in more members.

    If anyone would like to take over the running of the site please let me know.
