New heart for Dublin?

    The PD's have their greedy eyes on another state asset, this time they want to sell off Dublin Port, reclaim hectares of land and squeeze thousands more people into the city (but I doubt there'll be any socially affordable houses!), meanwhile building yet another ring road to add to the collection and moving some of the port traffic onto a green field site (with lots of empty land around it to build yet more houses and offices).

    am i the only one somewhat concerned that they come up with this after the port tunnel is built? seems to indicate just how irrelevant the PDs have become:D

    There was a plan (maybe there still is) to move the Port out somewhere around Balbriggan,this could have been a good idea but as mentioned above its crazy to try and do this now that the port tunnel has been built.
