    Ive just tried to connect my computer to my 40" sony tv. small problem. i cant seem to set the resolution any higher than 1280 * 720. whatever is displayed on the tv just doesnt look right. the resolution on the tv is 1366 * 768. any ideas on how to increase the resolution?

    powerstrip might work. It can force resoultions that the graphics card doest show by default
