Creative Team foramtion....

As an assignment in college, our class has to form an agency and create a campaign for a selected client....

Our creative team consists of 8 people excluding the Creative Director - there's 30 in the class overall... We've also got a media team, account planners, finance etc...

I know the creative team consists of copywriters and art directors, but is there a standard way to structure the team - pair them off in twos or appoint 1 senior copywriter and 1 senior art Director, with the others providing support roles?

All help will be appreciated. Thanks

not even qualified and already you've got seniors and directors !! ;)

anyway, depending on the agency , ie. ad agency is usually a bit different to a web agency structure.

each Copy writer works with a creative.

You have a creative head and senior copy writer to review the concepts of each.

sounds like you need 3 team of 2 and 2 seniors to report to the Director

You may also have a project manager / producer / account manager to ensure project delivers on time and on budget, they work with the client to ensure the brief is correct, manage the brainstorming, go for lunch etc. They will often deliver the final presentation to the client with the senior creative.

instead of doing it for a fictional client why not check out

and do it for real and possibly earn some money for the group.
