Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi all was wondering if anyone knows what this is or has had and knows a way of fixing it with out having to buy a new lcd.

i taught it was just stuck pixels or dead ones but they flash and as you can see they do change colour. i have tried rolling back drivers

i think its odd it is a block like it is , if you divide the screen into 6 it is one 6th perfectly so not too sure what it is

    thanks all in advance

Ah, have you got a VGA out on the graphics card where you can plug your a monitor into it and see what comes up on that?

i was thinking it was a loose connection inside but the laptop never moved for anything to become loose.

Have you tried tapping the plastic at the hinge. Thats where the connection for the screen usually is. If it's a loose connection you might knock it back in.

Worth a shot. I used to have to do it on an old Gateway. Same thing, never moved but it came loose. That looks like a loose connection alright.
