Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i have this headset

    http://www.gimmethatgadget.com/code/products.asp?recnumber=141

basically, its paired to my brothers phone, and he now has a car kit so i have it.
when i scan for it, i cant find it. My brother said that when it was paired to his, its now locked to his phone.

Is there anyway i can reset it back to factory defaults?

i cant find a reset button or a manual on the internet anywhere.

anyone know how to or have one themselves?

    cheers

Get your phone ready to search for devices.

Turn the headset off and then try turning it on and
keeping the on button pressed for about 10 seconds.
If a light starts flashing it's in pairing mode and you should find it.

If your phone asks for a PIN, try 0000.

If the on button doesn't work, try turning it on while pressing one
of the other buttons and holding down both.

I don't have this model, but I've had 6 of them, and they've all
paired by doing something like that.

    Good luck,
    NiallB

    that didnt work.

when you turn it on, the light flashes and when i scan, it does find it.

same if i hold the button down

tried it with my phone and my brothers(not the one its paired with), they can see each other but not the headset

    any other ideas anyone?

I'd say you need the manual for this one.

The trick is to get the headset into pairing mode - doesn't sound like you have done that. This is achieved by some combination of keys, as Niallb suggests. The trick is which keys, and I'd say only google or the manual will tell you.

My Plantronics is put into discovery mode by holding volume-down and speak button (I think), the light then alternates between red and green to indicate it is in pairing mode. When it's paired, the light goes back to flashing green.
