Eircom phonebill listed services question

    Just curious,
    I have this on my Eircom phonebill as an item listed under 'Eircom services' (online version) -

    THIRD PARTY PERMISSION

    Anyone know what it means? (..no I haven't asked Eircom :-p )

    At the bottom of the 2ndpage, there's a litte section that says
    To opt out of receiving unsolicited marketing calls from 3rd parties, call 1901, select service inquiry, then choose, other inquiry. This service is not available to Ex-dirctory customers at present.

    At a guess, the "THIRD PARTY PERMISSION" listed means that you haven't opted out, and eircom has decided that you have given permission for these unsolicited marketing calls.
