Hello, I'm planning on buying a new desktop purely for gaming. I've bought pc's in the past and have been overcharged for them. I'm not able to build a pc myself so I'm looking at ordering one from Komplett or another site.

I've been looking at some on komplett.

I dont need a monitor/mouse/keyboard etc. What would you recommend as the best gaming pc for around 1500e inc. delivery and VAT? online or otherwise.

    Thanks in advance.

If you search this forum and the comp / tech one you will have seen 400 million other threads like this one.

Btw, when a mod sees that sig it will be removed, Its about 10X to big.

Sorry, it's just that most of the posts aren't in my price range and the ones that are seem to be old. Just couldn't find anything suitable for me.

If you can stretch your budget a little this machine from Komplett should do everything you want and has very good specifications.

If you click on the "Customise with recommended options & Buy" for the machine 8T8 recommended and change the case to the centurion 532, get rid of the bundled OS (that is if you have one already) it comes to €1508 before shipping.

Depending on how savvy you are you could also downgrade the CPU to the 6400 then buy the €42 Vapochill Micro Xtreme and OC it past the 6600 specs, which will save you a further €50 which should more than pay for your shipping and round out the total to just under €1500, and you'll have a machine that will pwn any game currently out there.

EDIT: Also if you are unsure about OCing if you haven't done it before but you want to get into it, then get your machine and we can guide you through the steps you need to take to get a good overclock and a stable system.

if you are holding out till february then that spec is going to change completely, new and better HW gets released every few weeks. By then there will probably be better mobos out and a load of DX10 cards.

I'd wait until you are ready to buy before building a list.
