Anyone familiar with this cms software ?

Im considering the use of it for a personal site im developing in css and xhtml for a mate of mine.

I want to give him complete control over the finished site so that he will be able to easily update the content by use of a "user friendly" cms.

Any opinions from anyone on here ?

    Cheers for the reply heggie.
Do you think it would be difficult to use from a non developer perspective ?

Thats a nice site in your sig by the way, im a fan of minimalist websites.

well text pattern should be simple enough

what exactly does this personal site need to do?
i personally like wordpress, but again its down to the person's needs

thanks :) i'm much more designer than developer and I find it grand. An essential plugin would be ako_nav, as this gets around the problem of sorting sections of your site in a non alphabetical way. theres a good support base at forums.textpattern.com
