    ran unsuccessfully to be a class rep in 2nd year. its a pity i didnt just go for president since no one even bothers running for that anymore.

    so i'm a member of this SU but as i have discovered, you are not allowed to leave the SU! what kind of a union is this that i'm automatically a member of?

    should a rival (more democratic) union be set up?
