Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Replacement XP Media.

    My own PC originally came from Dell with XP Media Center (just a HD image no CD's) I blew it off and installed Pro (work license) and later Vista.

    Now that I have my xbox I want the Media Center back again. Does anyone know if its possible to order replacement media from Dell (or anywhere else for that matter). I'm going to give Dell a call in the morning and see what I can do but I thought maybe someone here might have some info.

    I read somewhere else on one of the other boards where people didn't get their XP Home or Pro reinstall CDs, then called Dell to get them (not sure if there was a charge or not). I would assume the same applies to XP Media.

    Yep, my Dell laptop came with XP home but no cd. I didn't even realise this until I went looking for it after the whole thing needed reinstalling due to viruses.

    Just phone them and they send it in the post within 5 days. They sent me out about 7 cds for everything else I hadn't asked about either, including some they had already given me originally :confused:

    Just got off the phone from them and there are sending me a suite of cd's including the OS, drives, etc. They didnt charge me either so thats a plus. I'd have paid if I needed to. 5 to 7 days is the only thing.
