    Hi Guys,

I dunno if this is the correct place or not too post this, if not can you please direct me, thanks :D

What i am after is info on how to make a claim if you have seriously injured yourself in work - by serious i mean off work for 6months. And how long after the incident do i have to make a claim?
I really dont want to cause an unpleasantness in my workplace but i had been out of the scene socially and work wise for 6months so surely basic wage isnt enough and the knowledge that this could come back to haunt me in years to come.

Any info would be great. Thanx

The non-confrontational route is supposed to be through the Personal Injuries Assessment Board. You can click on "How to make a claim" and follow through the entire process either on your own or with the assistance of a legal representative. The size of the award is largely determined from tables in the Book of Quantum with reference to your medical evidence. Either side can contest the PIAB assesment and put the award to a court.
