14 plays in twelve months by the same company

    Impact Theatre are about to do eight plays(two full-length, six shorts) over a period of a month.This year they already did five shows, when this Women's Beckett season thing is over they're doing another one before christmas. That's 14 plays in 12 months. They're in Limerick, They don't tour, are they any good?

    Hmmm, Darren, you've got your own opinion on this local shower of vagabonds so you probably didn't need to ask the question.

    Having said that, I'd have to say an honest "yes", although I've only seen three productions this year. Might be more if I somehow manage to make it to all four Beckett outings. And I've got a review of Misery with a 3pm deadline today, though my nice editor will flay me if she finds out that I haven't started it yet.

    Just so we all know, I did indeed manage to make it to the entire Impact Beckett season and it was superb. And I don't throw around words like "superb" willy-nilly.
