Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

MCE question

I have a Dell 9150 with MCE installed, the windows if fubared and needs to be wiped, normally i would just wipe it but the guy who owns it wants MCE. Not too familiar with it but can it be whipped off the Dell cd and onto my Xp Pro Nlite cd? Tried googling but didnt find anything. Or is MCE Xp a standalone version? kdjac

reboot and keep tapping the F11 key (i think) this will allow you to do a complete restore (IT WILL WIPE ALL DATA ON THE DRIVE).

Can what be whipped off?

Best install the OS from the disk, means you can cut out all the bloat that Dell ship. The MCE disk will install just like any other windows disk.

mce is a full edtion of windows.
media centre is not a standalone application
