    Friends

    I will do the Theory test this saterday, wish me good luck:)

    I knew that they made some changes on the test categories, I have the Old Exam book which my friend use it for his exam which was in Sepember, should I buy a new one or this one will work for me

    I found this website while I was browsing, it will give you a run through of the whole theory test, give it ago. The link will take you straight to it, just click on start. Hope it helps.

    All they changed was all measurments to metric, the revised questions are here http://www.dtts.ie/eng/additional.htm

    This was on 25th April 2005; but I think they made changes on 21th October 2006

    Edit: Just read to the end, when was the old book bought? The new book was issued in early Sep 2006

    So I have to buy new book and use it for the test; if I passed the test I will not use tha book again:( waste of money

    they should provide the material for free on the internet

    See Theory Test use the link on that page to lodge a complaint to the dept.

    A lot of the new questions are almost similiar, just slight variations and different choice of answers.

    I have not seen the CD but some photographs in the book are very grainy and indistinct. Making it very difficult in some cases to work out the correct answer. Hopefully they will be clearer on the Video screen.

    A very high percentage of the questions can be answered correctly by the use of a little common sense.

    Get the book, better still get the CD if available.
