Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

One of the last (and most important) links in the N8 chain.

Its been put back to a Summer 2007 start, emailed the NRA about it the other day.

And about the motorway designations.... the official line seems to be that the whole route will be recommended for a 120kmh speed limit, its all built to motorway/hqdc standard, but only part of the route will be classified M. The rest will be N, even though the junction numberings will be present as if it were one classification.

So in summary. 2007 start for Cullahill-Portlaoise, and a patchwork mixture of N/M classification for the whole route.

It's M8 as far as Urlingford. 40 km of route 8 will be motorway and 109 km dualler. That's 27% motorbhealach.

Is it not going to be the M7 going towards Borris in Ossory/Roscrea/Nenagh?

Id say once the route is done we will have 120 kph on all of it but not up to M8 as to leave learners and farmers onto the road.

Cant wait for this route to complete what was once a 4+ hour journey should be a 2+ hour journey.
